Holo Zebra

So using tape to help I paint my nails bi-colored using Milani 3D Holographic in "Digital" and in "HD". I stamped it with the Bundle Monster Plate BM16. Then sealed it with a coat of Seche Vite. The pattern  came out sloppier than I wanted, but I did this in a rush to go to bed so it works for me.

Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat in "Distressed Denim"

Not impressed again [insert whomp whomp face of your choice]. It looks thicker than it is. It's streaky and not as cracked as I wanted it to be. Again I'm most impressed by the white undercoat's contrast with these crackles. Maybe when I swatch the White Crackle Overcoat I'll be satisfied.

This is the second time I used this top coat. The first time it cracked way better than this time. I'm not sure what caused the difference. I wish I had a photo from the first manicure. It cracks quickly, and dries slow. Sally Hansen's claim of "Wet to set in 60 seconds" is false. Too thin doesn’t crack and too thick doesn't dry. I just dipped the brush and applied it. I didn't clean off any excess on the side of the bottle and that seemed to give the best amount. I think my first manicure with this was more impressive than this sampler came out. Top coat makes it shiny and evens the layers out nicely.

I'm baaaack! With Pink, White and Bundle Monster!

Sorry for the long hiatus, but it was worth it. I have one more test, which ass I will kick, and then I will be a certified NYS EMT-B. I’m so incredibly excited. Due to all the long boarding of patients for practice, my nails have taken a backseat, but now I’m back. I’ve got my camera fixed, some new polishes to swatch and I’m so thankful for you followers who didn’t remove me for my lack of updating.

Since it’s my first day back I figured go hard or go home. This is my first bundle monster post on the blog. I painted my nails pink with New York Color Quick Dry in "Greenwich Village" and stamped with BM16 plate in Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in "White On”. The accent nail is just the reverse with the same polishes. I was happy I was able to stamp a quick dry. I wasn’t sure if it would work. I really love this mani, but I think next time I’m doing my nails all white with pink. I think the accent nail looks the best.
